A huge thank you to everyone from KPMG, Microsoft, UZGent and Erasmus MC involved in our productive workshops from April 7-9, 2025. With the invaluable support of Microsoft architects, we successfully agreed on the main principles, requirements, next steps (including deadlines), and role assignments for INDICATE’s architecture and Work Package 4 (Technical Infrastructure). During these sessions, we also gained a comprehensive understanding of how a scientific study with federated data analysis works. Special thanks to Jan for his effort in preparing it.

We used the information to draft an architecture according to the TOGAF framework to ensure that INDICATE’s design and solutions will meet the needs of researchers, innovators and healthcare through Europe. Thank you all for your commitment and collaboration.
